Set up an Android device with a Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync account

Gmail supports Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync accounts, and comes pre-installed on all Android devices. To add your Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync account to Gmail:

1. Open your device's Settings app. Tap Accounts. If you can't see 'Accounts', tap Users & accounts or Accounts and backup.
2. At the top, tap Manage accounts

   

3. At the bottom, tap on Add account.

   

4. Tap Exchange

   

5. Enter your ActiveSync email and credentials.

   

6. Enter your ActiveSync Email Password

   

7. Tap Done

   

8. Exchange ActiveSync account is added

   

To Read your ActiveSync email in Gmail App

1. Tap to open Gmail app

   

2. Tap on the Google Account icon at the top right

   

3. Tap on your ActiveSync email address on the Drop-down

   

4. ActiveSync Email messages appear
